HOPE XXL presents Liemers List at United Nations conference

HOPE XXL develops a new vision on the future with young people from all over the world and aims to present this vision to the United Nations. This will come true in February: we will travel to the UN to present the global Liemers List!

We have been invited by UN Youth Envoy Ahmad Alhendawi to take part in the UN conference "Youth Engagement in the Transition from MDGs to SDGs: What will it take?". The vital role of young people will be the focus of this event: from all over the world, people will join the conference to discuss young people's role on the international stage. In short, it's the place to be for HOPE XXL!

Yama (24), who has been involved with HOPE XXL from the beginning, will present the global Liemers List during the conference session on February 3rd. An important milestone, especially since it has always been our ambition to present our vision to the UN!

It's great timing as well: The presentation will take place directly after the HOPE XXL Global Summit, taking place from 27 – 30 January in Costa Rica. Here we will finalize the Liemers List with young people from all over the world.

Of course we will report from the Global Summit and UN conference through our Twitter and Facebook accounts.
